   <description><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://dtracorp.com/print/direct/type/g/it/t/gid/75/filename/IMGP3730_kookaburra.jpg" alt="kookaburra sits in the old gum tree" /><br />he looks like he&#039;s got a smile on his face. i wanted to get a picture of a kookaburra before we left (we could hear them all day long), this one flew by, just as we were heading down from castle rock back to the camp site. the kookaburra has to be my favourite native australian bird.</p>]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://dtracorp.com/print/direct/type/g/it/t/gid/75/filename/IMGP3675_grasshopper.jpg" alt="grasshopper" /><br />saw this grasshopper on <a href="/user/view/id/alf">alf</a>&#039;s tent, so i grabbed my macro lens out, and starting snapping away. didn&#039;t manage to get anything particularly great, but this one was sharp enough. it was good, cos it didn&#039;t jump around too much. there were heaps of grasshoppers around the place as well.</p>]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://dtracorp.com/print/direct/type/g/it/t/gid/74/filename/IMGP3524-IMGP3528_hotham_panorama.jpg" alt="panorama of mount hotham" /><br />this is a five picture stitched panorama taken with my 50mm lens from the summit of mount loch. i used <a href="http://hugin.sourceforge.net">hugin</a> with the autopano tool (the only one that worked), it had a couple of spots, but not really noticeable after a bit of touching up, and at screen resolution. it was pretty hazy (that&#039;s my excuse anyway <img src="/print/direct/type/s/filename/images||smilies||smileyWink.gif" width="20" height="20" alt="smiley" title="smiley" />), so nothing special, but worth a try.</p>]]></description>
