not really a review, just a pointer, since i'm having issues with firefox 2 crashing on my home pc (something to do with my profile (or my ancient computer) i guess), i thought if i'm going to use something unstable, i might as well use something newer. just testing out firefox 3, none of my extensions work of course, but i don't really need them for home use. it's quite cool, no crashes yet, and everything seems to work the same as before, except that the acid 2 test works, and i'm not having random crashes (caused by some dll in a cryptic windows message).
i haven't tried any extensions developed for this version yet, except this ctrl+tab extension, which scrolls through your tabs when you hit control and tab. it's kinda cool, except that i hardly ever use control tab, but if i reduce mouse usage, then i may find that it would be very useful, or at least cool with the thumbnail previews.
i'd just like to close with the fact that i've been using firefox since the early days, when it was called phoenix, then firebird, way back in 2003. yep, that's right, i'm that much better than you because i've been using it longer than most of you.
