another quick site update, i haven't been working too much on the site lately, but finally got around to making the tags section. instead of linking to technorati, now all news and gallery items have tags that are linked to other similar items on the site. basically, it's like a convenience search, based on what i (the author) determine each item is about 
. so for example, in the gallery, under an image that has been tagged "macro", you will find a link that will take you to a page that shows all other gallery items tagged macro, essentially creating a gallery of just macro items; but including all macros, from all galleries.
try it out, underneath all news and gallery items (those that have been tagged anyway), there should be a links that takes you to the related items page. obviously let me know if there are any bugs. i'll prolly be looking to add some more stuff like "most popular tags, and a tag cloud of some description some time in the future (
).
the last thing at the moment, i am looking at making images belong to multiple galleries, as well as galleries belonging to multiple bases, but with the tags section online, i don't know if i will bother with that now. anyways, here's a tag for you to try out.
