dfa 100mm macro, hyperdrive space, and a sensor cleaning brush

yep, it all arrived today, about ten minutes before i left for work smiley. i saw someone walking up, i thought it was just the person checking the electricity metre, but then they rang the doorbell. i didn't think it was going to be my package, less than a week after being sent, it surely couldn't have arrived yet. but lo and behold, it was, and i was so excited, i ended up being a few minutes late for work smiley. i only had time to open the package and check the contents, so i only managed to actually check out the items after work.

got home, and the first thing i wanted to try was the sensor brush, visible dust arctic butterfly sl 700, i had a couple specks of dust on my sensor, that were really annoying me. so i gave it a whirl, following the instructions on their web site, and guess what? it didn't work, in fact, it put more dust on my sensor smiley. i sure hope i'm doing it wrong (and that i haven't fudgeed up my camera), and i just need to do it a little better, cos this thing ain't work jack at the moment. right now, the specks are light-ish, and only show up when stopped right down, so hopefully i get it cleaned up quickly.

next, the macro lens, it was kinda dark by the time i got home, and very windy, so i only managed to get a couple test shots, in poor light. nothing special, but hopefully on a nice day coming up, i can take some pictures and post to a gallery. it's a really nice looking lens, and feels really well built. it even came with a nylon lens bag, i reckon it's pretty cool, and hopefully it is good as a telephoto/portrait lens as well. will post more about it soon.

the hyperdrive space is a card reader that is supposed to be really fast and have a huge battery capacity. unfortunately, because the package caught me off guard, i haven't had the chance to pick up a hard drive for it yet. i'll do that tomorrow, and then i can really test the speed of it, it looks pretty cool nonetheless, i'll obviously post a bit more on it once i have a good play.

anyways, that's it for now, i'll be playing with these things all night now, i also attached a crappy picture of all the boxes.
