the two hottest teams in our division faced off, us with our six game winning streak (seven counting the bye), and yhites, unbeaten in their previous six (i think). they beat us by three points last time, so we had a bit of extra incentive, on top of needing to keep winning to make the finals. unfortunately, the form we had last week, didn't carry over to this week, and we were beaten 35-50. offensively, when we didn't turn it over, we were all right, but we just made turnover after turnover, and defensively, we couldn't keep them off the boards. that's the most disappointing thing, because they're not a big team, we just didn't box out at all.
in a terrible first half, we trailed 16-28 (i think) at the break, and knew we needed to do something special to come back.we got it back to 24-30 after a few minutes, but couldn't get any closer after that. it's really frustrating, and even worse, they were able to pad the score at the end, to put a dent our percentage (which is very close to spartans already). the big issues i saw from this game, were turnovers, and defensive rebounding, and keeping their centre out of the lane (he killed us there). wills probably would've been useful there, but he was out.
it's going to be tough to get to the finals now, hopefully spartans lost, but we'll see. i ended up with 14 points, with 4/4 from the line 
. season tallies, 170 points, and 37/69 from the line. a big game next week, we lost to deez nutz last time round, so another team to get revenge against, to stay in the finals hunt.
ok, we dropped out of fourth, but were replaced by ripe plums, spartans lost as well. if we win next week, it could possibly be a playoff with ripe plums to make the finals in the last round.
