well, this is my last ever proper game recap for the mighty boys, so it means we lost. we were able to keep it tight in the first half, going into the break at 15-18, but weren't able to keep it up, and eventually lost 27-42. missing andy, and with the halves extended to twenty minutes, we just didn't have enough to keep them out, they dominated the boards, and we couldn't keep them out of the lane. we also struggled from the field, simon wasn't his usual self, struggling to hit the outside shots. we've had some tight games against them before, and i don't think they're that much better than us, they were just better on this day.
so a week off for us, and another season without a wednesday night trophy. it was a bit more successful season than last season though, at least making the finals, and finishing second in the regular season. we've registered again for the summer season, so we'll see how that goes, it starts in two weeks with grading.
i finished the season on a good note, scoring fifteen points, with 3/4 from the line, for season tallies of 202 points, and 42/71 (still no real improvement). so, that's it, i might post a season starter after the first grading game, but that's no certainty, i'll post a couple of in-season items just to detail our progress.
