went and saw the bourne ultimatum last night, the final part in the trilogy. i liked the first two, so was hoping the third one would be good too. i wasn't disappointed, the action scenes have their own style, especially the hand to hand fighting (being a bit more "gritty" and less show). it was more of the same from bourne as he went on a killing (and ass-kicking) spree to find out who he really was, and what had been done to him. he reads an article by an english journalist that has a source that knows about bourne's past and other top secret cia operations.
this gets the journo killed, and the cia back on bourne's tail. he managed to avoid numerous close calls while looking for the source (who wasn't quite so lucky) in spain and morocco, and even finds some evidence pointing to the cia office in new york. he somehow manages to get to new york undetected, and finds an empty office space directly opposite the cia directors in charge of the secret operations.
i won't reveal more than that, to leave you all in suspense
. despite the unbelievability of bourne's ability to survive, it was a good film with all the usual fancy co-ops gadgets, and "i can't believe they could control that" secret surveillance. all in all, i would recommend the film if you like action, and a bit of violence
