well, i got this on ebay, and this time, i think i was definitely a bit hasty. i was hoping that it had full shutter control, but after ordering, prolly realised that it wouldn't have it, and i was regretting it the whole time i was waiting for it to be shipped. well, it finally arrived today, and i've been testing it out, and at least it does work, but it won't control the shutter for long (bulb) exposures. meaning that it will only work for exposures up to thirty seconds, and my primary reason for buying it, self portraits. still, it would've been good to have gotten all the features with this control.
so i found the one that i (really) wanted just yesterday, and it does have shutter control, and the price was the same
. oh well, i'll get it when it breaks or something, or maybe i'll get my colleague to pick one up, considering that he's in hk right now
. unbelievable, how many pictures it took before i settled for this one, and even this one was out of focus. the white balance is a bit off, cos i just used a jpeg straight from the camera, and with indoor lighting, it's not great. anyways, now i can do my self portraits without having to have my 16-45mm lens on.
