we beat these guys by a point last time, so they prolly wanted revenge, and i hope we weren't expecting an easy game. on a two game losing streak (correction, two game losing streak after this game), we were looking to end that going into the bye week. it was a close game throughout, but we couldn't get close enough, and lost 35-42, after trailing 18-23 at the half. with about five minutes left, we were only down by two or so, but we could never manage to get any closer, and in the end, they padded their score with free throws, while we couldn't force any points in.
it was a bloody 10.15 game, and so my warm up of riding home from work was really nullified by sitting at home doing nothing for a few hours. i was pretty tight, and my back is still giving me problems, as well as my groin. it was a pretty hard loss to take, we just couldn't keep them off the offensive boards, which reduced our break opportunities, and also wore us down a bit. i was spent with about eight minutes to go in the second half, and never really recovered, i really couldn't get off the ground, or push hard at all.
we drop to 10-5, and the finals picture looks even tighter now. i scored ten, and was 2/2 from the line taking me to 158 points, and 30/50 for the season.
