no, i'm not abandoning the site, obviously there's still news, and of course i'll use my gallery still. the flickr thing is just to post my favourite pics and to get more exposure. i'll probably also glean some stuff from the flickr site to use in my own site. they use a lot of javascript though, so i don't know how much of that i will copy, but there are some functions that i might think about adding.
the flickr logo is obviously taken from the flickr site.

just added thumbnails to the comments feed, i'm trying to fix it so that the html shows up too, to make the feed look a little neater in the browser at least.
