continuing our rivalry against eastern bulls (who we've played several times over the past couple seasons), they're the ones with the big ass shotblocker. i haven't played particularly well against these guys in the past (i think mainly cos i can't get any layups with that big guy there), and i was expecting a tough game again. we only had four players to start with, so we were pressed a bit in the first half, but managed to keep it tight, the score was 8-12. things opened up a bit more in the second half, with simon and andy showing up. it wasn't pretty, but a win is a win, we eventually took it 39-24.
first, the bald ref was on us for not tucking our singlets in, then the other ref wasn't taking any crap (like dr. evil to his son, zip it), handing out techs like it was his last game. we took full advantage, then late in the game, one of their guys stole it off me, and i was trying to foul him before he could get to the basket, but the refs didn't call it. the guy goes nuts at me, saying "why you pushing me", pushing me, etc., all this, and i'm just like, "settle down". he gets ejected, and they were down to four players for some reason. the game was basically over at that point, and we were pretty much just playing for time.
simon, lawrence, and gordon were knocking down shots today, which was a good thing. i scored 6 points, for 105 on the season, and was 2/2 from the line, 21/36. we're now 8-2 and near the top of the table.

i wish i could say i was like this guy, he got two of the main guys from the other (purple) team suspended (for game 5), and his team went on to win games 5 and 6 and the series (it was 2-2 after that game, they had the momentum and home court advantage). but we were going to win anyway, the white team is my team by the way
