our arch nemesis, from a couple of seasons ago, well, we played them like five times in two seasons. they only had four players, and were missing there size, so it was a game that we should've won. it was a tight first half, and we let them go early, but managed to take the lead just before the break, 24-19. after that, it was pretty much running over them, coasting to a 59-43 win, with them tiring, and gaps opening up. defensively, we definitely could've been better, we gave up a few threes in the first half, and let them drive into the lane too easily. giving up 43 points to four players is a bit annoying, but i guess, we should just take the win.
i'm a bit disappointed in myself, i was beaten a few times, and didn't really get it going defensively. i did manage to grab a lot of boards, with them missing big men, i was able to grab a heap. we shot ok, gordon, and simon from the outside, the rest of us from the inside. it was pretty good, just waiting on the baseline in the first half, for some drive-and-draws, and an easy layup open under the basket. i didn't get any of that in the second half, as it turned into an up and down game, and i jsut grabbed defensive boards and threw an outlet. i guess, it's good to get a win against them now (with four players), as it'll be tougher against them if they have a full lineup later.
i scored 14 points (12 in the first half), no free throws, to take me to 65 points, and leaving me at 13/22 from the line (damn their unwillingness to foul due to lack of players 
). anyways, that's it for now, we continue our run, and move on to 5-1 for the season, a much better start than last season.
