yeah, i hear over at yarra trams, they're looking for some new capable staff. check the job description for more information, i doubt it pays very well though. seriously, as if the slowness and general shittiness of trams isn't enough, they employ these people to be ticket inspectors that have absolutely no idea. and as if my general disdain for trams in melbourne (and anywhere really) wasn't already great enough, it has clearly been elevated to new levels after last friday. i'm not even going to go into the details, let's just say that i got served. "i can't believe you couldn't get change at one of the shops", fuck you cunt!! i can't fuckin' believe they don't accept notes on the fuckin' ticket machines, i haven't bought a ticket on a tram for about ten years, how the fuck was i meant to know that? anyway, rant over.
hey, one positive, the tramtracker app for the iphone is pretty neat, if i ever have to use it again, it'll be too soon. pic taken from yarra trams site.
