for some reason, these guys didn't get promoted to division 2 after least season (they won), but it was always going to be a tough game, we were missing a few players, and it is only grading after all. i don't think either side took the game too seriously, but it was close still, they hung on for a 38-41 victory. it was 20-21 at the half, so it was pretty close the whole way. we even had a chance to tie it at the buzzer, but simon was just short on a hail mary from 40 feet. to be perfectly honest, i wasn't too interested in winning this game (terrible i know), after all, we'd like to be competitive for the whole season, and it would be better in division 3 than division 2.
my intensity levels were way down, as i'm pretty sure the other team's was, i don't think it meant a lot to us, it is grading, and to keep it close, we were pretty satisfied. i'm not really sure how we kept it so close, i guess simon and andy were making a heap of shots. nothing too spectacular to speak of here, so i'll just move on to the bad part.
i scored seven points, and made only 1/4 from the line (they were all terrible), season tally, 29 points, and 7/10 on free throws. we drop to 2-1, but maintain a healthy percentage, with no game next week (due to anzac day), will post again in a couple weeks.
