well, it was really yesterday for me, but i'll post it now because the gallery is finally up. this isn't an annual thing, it's actually the second world pentax day this year. i guess it's a bit of an initiative by pentax (or someone affiliated with pentax) to promote the brand, and to get pentax users out and taking photos. it's a good idea, though it was a bit annoying this year, as the site i post my picture(s) to didn't put their gallery up until several hours after it had hit the 11th october in the us time zone. meaning that people well ahead of that time zone (ie me in australia) missed the chance. anyway, this is a picture i took yesterday of a beautiful bowl of wonton noodle soup, home made, so you know you wouldn't be able to get a better one in a restaurant. bit of spring onion (yum), coriander (don't know if there's a better herb), egg noodles, wontons (prawns with pork mince), and some extra hot chilli just to give it some kick, this is good stuff.
took it with my trusty dfa100 using wireless flash, took a few shots and then obviously started eating before it got cold
