finally decided to shell out the bux and get the simpsons dvds (off ebay again), i got series 2-8. those are my favourites, especially 3-6, i know it's probably a bit messy not to get season 1 (for completeness) as well, but i just don't see the point if i will never watch those episodes. i may get season 9 in the future, cos that has some episodes that i like too. i had a bit of a look on tv.com and i don't think i will get any other seasons. what i've got is almost certainly the pinnacle of the simpsons (and comedy animated or not), yes, yes, family guy, is good, the office, but the simpsons will always be number one.
this was a really good buy too, ordered on wednesday, and arrived today (i had a good time riding home with seven dvd boxsets in my backpack 
). anyway, it's a shit-load of stuff to get through, so we'll see if i can get it all done before i go away. if not, well, i'm sure they won't be going anywhere . more tomorrow...
