following on from the last post, i have managed to get myself some early xmas presents, i still need to get my dad something though. i ordered these from the kswiss site along with another pair of custom sneakers (which will hopefully arrive before i leave for south america), but they decided to send them separately. considering the size of the parcel, and having separate shipping, the shipping cost was actually pretty reasonable, delivery was pretty fast, maybe a week with fedex, well, it seems particularly fast when i wasn't expecting anything till late october (i thought they were going to ship together). originally, i wanted a different pair of sneakers than these ones, but they changed the release date to late october, which is too late for me, so i settled for these. just tried them on, and they are a good fit, felt pretty comfortable as far as new shoes go, and look pretty nice too.
will see what my other shoes look like before i decide which pair to take with me on my travels, but most likely, it'll be one of the new sneakers. i want to get a new pair of superstars to replace my current and very squeaky pair (which haven't been as nice as the ones they replaced) as well, that'll have to wait till next year. just on superstars, make sure you get the ones that have the fat laces, i think they are superstar originals (or i's) or something (the previous pair i had were those (notice the fat laces), different colour, very sweet). the current pair i have, are superstar ii's i think, notice the normal, thin laces, they're cool, but they just don't feel or look the same. trust me on this, anyway, i'll be trying my new sneaks at work tomorrow, so hopefully all is well.
