yeah, so it actually arrived yesterday, but because the guy that normally receives deliveries at my work was at lunch (he normally brings parcels up to us), someone else received it and just put it in the pidgeon hole (i didn't think to look, especially since the ups site didn't say it was delivered until 10pm). checked it this morning, and there it was, everyone at work was really busy so i didn't pull the camera out and make a nuisance of myself by snapping pictures. just got home, and took a few quick snapshots, the focus feels real smooth and sharp, and it just feels right.

it's slightly smaller than my fa50, that's with the lens hood on, so yeah, i have a really nice, small, light travel kit now. i can't wait to take it mexico and really give it a good working over, hopefully i'll be able to get some good practice in before that too. that's definitely my last camera purchase for a while, i'm not sure what else i need (which is a good thing, cos i'd probably buy it smiley). maybe the raynox macro converter (for greater than 1:1 macros), nothing else really.

the da21 on my k100d (taken with the f30)
the k100d with the da21 and hood attached

both of these pictures taken wide open (f/3.2)

well, the first one was sharpened more so, i dunno, i don't think it's going to affect me, but i think this lens back focuses.
