i finally just decided to buy it, the aussie dollar is real strong at the moment, so no point waiting a few months, this way i can take it with me to mexico. got it from adorama, so i'm expecting it to arrive on thursday, i've been wanting this lens for a while now, probably since the new zealand holiday last year. it's a pancake lens, made by pentax, f/3.2, there are faster lenses in that range, sigma has several f/1.8 lenses (cheaper too), but i prefer it's size. it's a limited edition lens, i think that means it has a better build, better qualities, etc.
anyways, i'll post again when it arrives, i really like the focal length, good for landscapes, and indoor photography. it gives me a nice prime lineup, 21mm, 50mm, and 100mm. i won't need those zooms at all anymore
. this will hopefully be the last major purchase for my camera for a long time i've bought everything in less than a year
. i can't imagine needing anything else for a while, i think i've become more of a collector than a photographer
.
pic taken from the pentax site.

lol, nope, my camera backpack should be a lot lighter for mexico
. keep in mind that the k10d is a bit bigger than the k100d, but yeah, http://www.photozone.de/images/8Reviews/lenses/pentax_21_32/kit.jpg.
