a clay (?) statue of a classic veracruz civilisation goddess. this is in the anthropological museum in mexico city. the museum is ridiculously large, and has too many artefacts 
, seriously, don't go and try to see everything in one go, you will need a break for sure. or visit over the course of a couple days, and maybe see half each day, it costs more, but won't wear you out as much. i was a little jaded from museums after this one (it is a really cool museum though, nicely laid out with lots of interesting artefacts and displays). i tried to desaturate the background as much as possible with this picture, i may need to try and bring the shadows up a bit though.
